Tilton Motorsports was started in 2003 when Jacob Tilton @ 7yrs old wanted to race go-karts. He became a member of the world karting association and raced 50cc Kid Karts until 8 years old. At the end of his karting career, he had 4 wins and 12 top five finishes.
Jacobs next phase in his career was the Bandolero series (750 pound stock car with 30HP motors) as of 2005. Jacob finished this series with 39 wins and two championships. He was ranked 2nd in the nation in the Bandolero Outlaw series (2010).
In 2012 Tilton Motorsports decided to sell the Late Model & Charger to race Thunder Roadsters on a part time schedule due to football and other high school obligations. Tilton Motorsports will be doing most of their racing at the "Las Vegas Bullring" & road courses, however will be traveling as much as possible.
Jacob raced the 2010 Open Comp in the Charger Division, and won his first time on the track. He is the youngest driver in history to win at the LV Open Comp @ age 13 in a full size stock car.
